Safety is a priority for Macro Industries. Please note that the following are our minimum requirements for working in-field:

• Supplied: Hard Hat, Ear / Hearing Protection, Face Shields, Safety Glasses
• Coveralls supplied at cost
• Workers are responsible for supplying their own gloves, steel toed boots (6” rise), Shatter proof eye protection, special fitted hearing / eye protection.
• Please note that Bunny Boots, Steel-toed hikers / running shoes and “Harley Davidson” or “Oakley” Glasses are not CSA approved - Not permitted on any Macro worksite.

Mandatory Training for Hire

• "All workers must have" H2S ALIVE + FA Level 1
• WHMIS (through a professional safety company/PST/CSTS)
• Drivers (Class 1 – 5 as required per duties) *Must provide current Driver’s Abstract*
• First Aid Attendant (First Aid Level 3)
• Sawhand (Must be certified with Enform-Faller Bucker Training)

Training Available at Macro Industries

• Available courses provided: WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Confined Space Awareness, Ground Disturbance level 11 (fee required), Petroleum Safety Training, CSTS
• Apprenticeship programs: Welder (pressure piping, structural), pipefitter, mechanic (heavy duty and auto) (if available)

Recognized Training

• First Aid Level 1 / Standard First Aid (BC or AB)
• CPR
• First Aid Level 3 (OFA Level 3, EMP, EMR and others suitable for AB and/or BC
• Transportation Endorsement

• Confined Space (Awareness and Search & Rescue)
